Hon. Percy E. Downe:

Honourable senators, my question is for the Leader of the Government in the Senate. In 2009, three events in Prince Edward Island received funding from the Marquee Tourism Events Program. This year, one project was refused and overall funding for the province was decreased by over $150,000. Why was the funding reduced for Prince Edward Island?
