Hon. Lorna Milne:

Honourable senators, I have recently had the misfortune of hearing in my own hometown of Brampton, Ontario, a number of sources claiming that the President of the Conservative Party of Canada — I believe it is Don Plett — is publicly stating in his hometown that when the senator for his area retires in July, he will be coming to Ottawa as the replacement. Is this true?
