Hon. Colin Kenny:

Honourable senators, I have a question for the Leader of the Government in the Senate regarding the recent and welcomed announcement of multiple millions of dollars to enhance airport security.

Would the leader please advise me whether any of those funds will be dedicated to searching ramp workers; and if so, how much? Will there be a policy of searching all ramp workers when they arrive and leave work?
