Rose-Marie Losier-Cool

The Hon. Rose-Marie Losier-Cool, B.Ed. Senator Rose-Marie Losier-Cool was appointed to the Senate on March 21, 1995. She was its Deputy Speaker from November 17, 1999, to October 7, 2002, and the very first woman to be its Government Whip from January 15, 2004 to January 23, 2006.

Honourable senators, given that the government has announced caps on coal-fired electrical plants, does it have any plans to announce caps on all the other large final emitters, which would be a critical step to begin to deal with climate change policy in this country?
