Hon. Roméo Antonius Dallaire:

Honourable senators, my question is for the Leader of the Government in the Senate. Could she give us a report or a response on the implementation of Bill C-293 that was passed two years ago on May 28, 2008? The bill created an act respecting the provision of official development assistance abroad.

Can the leader confirm that this bill has been put into operation by this government?
