Henk Tepper returning to Canada after a year in a Lebanese prison

OTTAWA – The Tepper Family is extremely happy to have been informed by the Government of Lebanon that Henk Tepper is no longer being detained in Beirut and is currently on a plane back to Canada. He is being accompanied by lawyers Jim Mockler and Joe Karam.

Mr. Tepper and his lawyers will arrive at the Ottawa airport this afternoon where he will be greeted by his family and Senators Pierrette Ringuette and Mac Harb.

There will be a brief media availability at the Ottawa International Airport, outside the Macdonald-Cartier Lounge on the 2nd Level, room 2552, at 5 PM today.

A press conference will be held Monday, April 2nd at the Hotel Près-du-Lac in Grand Falls, New Brunswick at 11 AM.
